WELCOME to all of the new families and WELCOME BACK to those returning to Pembroke Titans Football & Cheer. We are very excited to finally start the 2021 season! My name is Christen Wright and I am the VP of Cheer for PTFC. I am so happy to welcome Katy MacDonald, as our new Cheer Director & Jessica Van den Toorn, as our new Competition Coordinator. They have been working extremely hard this off-season to make sure our athletes have a positive and safe experience!


Below are some important dates and information that you will need to save. Any dates and events listed below will be entered into the PTFC calendar, which is run by SportsEngine. If you have not yet downloaded the SportsEngine app, please do so as all information will be sent through this platform. SportsEngine also allows you to link the PTFC calendar to your mobile devices. Game schedules are available on our website and through the SportsEngine app.



Summer Schedule for ALL Cheerleaders

PHS softball fields

Starting Week of August 17th and ending on September 1st

First Varsity Game is September 12th


Instructional (Kindergarten) (ONLY HOME GAMES): Tues, Weds. & Thursdays 5:30-7:30

Mighty Mites (1st & 2nd Grade) (HOME & AWAY GAMES): Tues, Weds. & Thursdays 5:30-7:30

Mites (3rd & 4th Grade) (HOME & AWAY GAMES): Tues, Weds. & Thursdays 5:30-7:30

Mixed Cheer (Peewees/Midgets 5th-8th Grade) (HOME & AWAY GAMES): Tues, Weds. & Thursdays 5:30-7:30


Uniform Distribution for ALL Cheerleaders

*$200 uniform deposit check (post dated 12/1/21) is required for all cheerleaders @ the time of uniform pick up. Checks are destroyed once uniform is returned. No exceptions.*

Instructional—August 31st & September 1st, 5:30-6:30 @ Shed

Mighty Mites/Mites— August 31st & September 1st, 5:30-6:30 @ Shed

Peewees/Midgets— August 31st & September 1st, 5:30-6:30 @ Shed


Competition Teams

Due to Covid, we decided to not hold competition team tryouts for the 2021 season. All registered 1st-8th grade game day cheerleaders will be eligible to join the competition team.

Registration for game day & competition closes August 2nd!


We are excited to announce we have partnered with Cheer Sport Sharks New England for our 2021 season!

Choreography dates will be announced soon!

Teams compete at 3 local competitions in November.



Competition Team Fall Practice Schedule

** TBD ** Starting Week of September 6th

Competition teams practice 2 days a week for 2 hours each day.



Picture Day

Picture day for all cheerleaders (both game day and competition) will be September 10th. Times TBD.




PTFC provides each cheerleader with a bow & tee shirt that is to be worn only for Game Days & Competitions! Tee shirts are worn in place of uniform tops when weather permits. Coaches will communicate game attire.

Sneaker suggestions are available on our website as well as through our store link below. Sneakers must be official white cheer sneakers for safety purposes.

All Cheerleaders: Refer to the PTFC link above. RED SPARKLE BRIEFS are required. You are not required to purchase the specific sneakers shown on the site. You may also check out our website for additional sneaker suggestions.




New for 2021, we have come up with some great items for your cheerleaders. These are all optional and not required, however, you may find many items to be very useful and complimentary to what we currently have. Keep an eye open in the coming weeks for the communication with your options and ordering information.




In an effort to ensure our athletes’ safety PTFC will be providing baseline concussion testing at no cost for all Peewee & Midget cheerleaders through Peak Physical Therapy & Sports Performance. Stay tuned for more details! We will also continue to work with the Pembroke Board of Health to ensure we are following any & all Covid guidelines throughout the season! Our athletes’ health & safety is our priority.

What's the difference between Competition and Sideline Cheer?

Competition Team

Sideline Only

The competition team will cheer at home and away football games and will compete in 1-3 events (dependent on level) in the fall timeframe against local towns in our area.


  • Competition teams are open to athletes in grades 1 through 8


  • Those who make the Competition team are automatically on Sideline as well.


  • To join the competition team, athletes will be asked to tryout.


  • Tryouts will consist of a dance, cheer, jumps and tumbling. We welcome ALL levels and abilities.


  • Cost: $150.00 (plus the respective sideline cost).


  • Practice will occur in August (last week) and Sept. (first week) and then throughout the season two nights per week.


  • Commitment: weekend games, weekly practices, mandatory choreography dates and competitions (Dates: TBD).


  • Required apparel in addition to supplied uniforms:
    • White cheer sneakers
    • Red sparkle briefs
    • Blue leggings/windpants
    • Game-day t-shirt


Sideline cheerleaders support the Mites, Mighty Mites, PeeWee and Midget football teams by cheering them on at both home and away games.


  • Instructional athletes (Grade K) will join Mighty Mites and cheer only at home games.


  • Sideline cheer is open to grades K through 8



  • Instructional (Grade K): $50.00
  • Mighty Mites (Grade 1-2): $100.00
  • Mites (Grade 3-4): $175.00
  • PeeWees (Grade 5-6): $175.00
  • Midgets (Grade 7-8): $175.00


  • Practice will occur in August (last week) and Sept. (first week). There will be NO other practices throughout the year.


  • Commitment: weekend games throughout the season.
    • Saturday for Mighty Mite
    • Sunday for Mites, PeeWees & Midgets


  • Required apparel in addition to supplied uniforms:
    • White cheer sneakers
    • Red sparkle briefs
    • Blue leggings/windpants
    • Game-day t-shirt
